SSU Computer Science majors Jakob Evans and Matyas Krizek present recent research work at the 2021 Computer Science Conference for CSU Undergraduates.

Two of our Computer Science majors—Alondra Lona and Tairyn Addison—recently represented SSU at Anita Borg Institue's Virtual Grace Hopper Celebration in 2020. GHC is the world's largest gathering of women in computing.

The CS Department welcomes back Dr. Lynn Stauffer, Professor of Computer Science. Most recently, Dr. Stauffer served as Dean of the School of Science and Technology, a position she held from 2010 to 2020.

The Computer Science department is proud to welcome two new faculty members to SSU: Dr. Nina Marhamati and Dr. Sabidur Rahman. During Fall 2020, Dr. Marhamati is teaching CS 351 (Computer Architecture) and Dr. Rahman is teaching CS 370 (Software Design and Development).

As part of the final project for CS 330 in Spring 2019, students had to build a complete game. The primary learning objectives of this project were two-fold: first, they were expected to apply and expand their knowledge of gameplay programming in Unreal 4.
