If I graduated in Fall, can I walk in the Spring ceremony?

Let's take Spring 2024 as an example. You are welcome to walk in Spring 2024 commencement ceremony if:

• You have applied for graduation in Spring 2024
• You graduated earlier, in Fall 2023
• You have applied for graduation in Summer 2024

If you fall into these categories, there is nothing you need to do to communicate your interest in walking in commencement; the graduation team reaches out to students to confirm details for commencement.

Anything outside those categories (e.g., you intend to apply to graduate in Fall 2024 and want to walk early), please ask the commencement team if this is allowed. See details at https://commencement.sonoma.edu/

Note: all aspects of the commencement ceremony (like tickets for family members) are managed by the commencement team; the CS department does not control who is eligible to walk, nor has any role in granting special permissions or tickets.
