Scholarship for women in software engineering
To bring more gender diversity to the technology industry, Prisma is launching the Prisma Diversity in Engineering Scholarship. The annual scholarship aims to encourage women to pursue software engineering studies and improve the diversity of the industry’s talent pool. Two scholarship recipients will be chosen and awarded $5,000 each to support their education.
Amount: $5,000 awarded to two recipients
Application Deadline: April 18, 2022
Announcement Date: June 12, 2022
- Self-identify as female.
- Self-identify as any of the following: Black or African American, American Indian or Alaska Native, Hispanic or Latino, Asian, Native Hawaiian, or other Pacific Islander.
Be a high school senior or graduate, or a current college undergraduate, be pursuing a degree in Software Engineering (Computer science, Computer Engineering, etc.).
- Planning to enroll in a full-time undergraduate study at a US accredited college or university for the upcoming academic year.
The scholarship will be offered every year, so those who miss the deadline for this year will have another chance next year.
