Fall 2020 Advanced Software Design Project (CS 470) students presented their senior capstone projects online.
SSU computer science majors Ari'El Encarnacion and Cynthia Rosales present research work conducted with Dr. Gurman Gill at COPLAC's Virtual Midwest Regional Undergraduate Research, Scholarly and Creative Activity (URSCA) Conference, held on 14 November 2020.
As part of the final project for CS 330 in Spring 2019, students had to build a complete game.
The annual SSU Science Symposium went virtual in 2020. Computer Science faculty and students presented research posters, showcasing the research work they undertook (largely remotely) during the Fall and Spring.
Sit With Me is a national advocacy campaign designed to encourage women in computing careers, created by the National Center for Women & Information Technology (NCWIT). Sit With Me uses an iconic Red Chair to symbolize that women in technology need more seats at the table, that men and women can sit in support and solidarity for technical women, and that one highly visible action can instigate others.
